Dr. Heather Sandison ND
Dr. Sandison’s healing philosophy blends modern research and diagnostic techniques with time-tested modalities including manual therapies, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, diet, exercise, and deep listening. She believes in the power of the body to heal itself. Dr. Sandison’s passion is to guide and support patients as they co-create strong foundations for optimal health through sustainable lifestyle changes and natural medicine.
Dr. Sandison has additional expertise in neurocognitive medicine and neurohacking. She has been trained to specifically address imbalances that affect the brain including Autism, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety and Alzheimer’s. She has trained with Dr. Dale Bredesen MD, Dr. Neil Nathan, MD, Dr. Bill Walsh, PhD and Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker, MD in addition to regularly attending integrative medicine conferences throughout the year. Dr. Sandison is dedicated to learning all there is to know about brain health and considers her amazing patients some of her very best teachers.
She earned her Naturopathic Doctorate at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA and currently teaches part-time at Bastyr University, San Diego. Past experience includes work as an Egoscue Postural Therapist, licensed massage therapist and student staff counselor at Bastyr University, Seattle.
Dr. Sandison is available for appointments Mon-Thursday weekly.
